Wenzhou Medical University now offers full scholarship for students (Elite Program) who want to pursue master-doctoral degree or doctoral degree in medicine (See the programs below). Doctoral Degree: Free tuition fee and university offers living allowance (CNY 50,000 per year for doctoral students), 
   
Master-Doctoral Degree: Free tuition fee & university offers living allowance (CNY30,000 per year in the first 2 years and CNY 50,000 per year in the last 3 years)

  • ELIGIBILITY

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.

2. Education background and age limit:
- Applicants for Master-Doctoral: Degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
- Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.



  • DOCUMENTS

The applicants must fill in and provide two sets of the following documents truly, correctly and completely (all in duplicate):

1. Application Form 

2. Photocopy of the applicant's passport.

3. Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). Applicants employed shall provide proof of studying on application. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

4. Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

5. Study or research plan: in Chinese or in English, no less than 800 words. 6. Published academic papers or other academic achievements (if applicable).

6. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Attachment 2) (the original copy should be kept by the applicant. The form is printed by Chinese quarantine authority). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid.
Please select the appropriate time to take medical examination as it is valid for only 6 months.

Note: Application materials will NOT be returned regardless of the result of application.

What is the cost of applying

ACASC charges a service fee of 50$ for using its online application portal. Applying through ACASC into Chinese universities attracts a service fee of $50. Please check ACASC application service for details. Different universities charge  different  application fee and ACASC has been authorized to receive the fee on their behalf. Application Fee: Affiliated universities and colleges in China have approved ACASC to accept the application fee on their behalf. Processing of your application starts after the application fee has been paid. The application fee ranges from $20 to $150 Note that payment for all services by universities and colleges in China is transacted only in Renminbi (RMB).
