Foreign students to conduct fire safety drill

In order to improve the fire safety awareness of international students, to improve foreign student’s ability in fire fighting and rescue，on the 11th of November at 1pm, the school held a fire safety education class for foreign students on the 2nd floor of the teaching building, and a fire drill was carried out. The education and training was done by the Security Department of the Fire Department, by Officer Jin Youdong, via a keynote presentation.
Two lecturers introduced the students to the basics of fire hazards, fire escape and rescue and the use of fire extinguishers. Subsequently, the staff of the department organized an outdoor demonstration of the use of fire extinguishers and foreign students had the chance to practice the operation of the fire extinguishers. Through these fire safety activities, students are supposed to have more knowledge on fires, how to protect themselves from fires, enhance their awareness and to ensure a fire free and “safe campus’, creating a good atmosphere.

What is the cost of applying

ACASC charges a service fee of 50$ for using its online application portal. Applying through ACASC into Chinese universities attracts a service fee of $50. Please check ACASC application service for details. Different universities charge  different  application fee and ACASC has been authorized to receive the fee on their behalf. Application Fee: Affiliated universities and colleges in China have approved ACASC to accept the application fee on their behalf. Processing of your application starts after the application fee has been paid. The application fee ranges from $20 to $150 Note that payment for all services by universities and colleges in China is transacted only in Renminbi (RMB). The application fee for Hebei North University is 800RMB, the same as posted on its website. ACASC converts RMB into US dollars on the ACASC website for students’ convenience.
